For my amarican, african and english readers here a little summary from my trip to South-Africa. I am here now for more than a week and I am having a great time. I went to the townships in Cape Town. In the capeflats live about 2 million people and a lot of them have been building a shed on illegal places. Some families live together in one room. People are so poor here. It is impressive to see.
Last week I had my first camp. This camp was organised by the Red Cross organisation. Kids are entertained all the time and we have a lot of fun all the time. This was a camp to develop joy in these kids there lives. Because the kids in this camp where very poor, they don't have flushing toilets at home and no showers. In these camp they're exposed to love and experience different cultures, not only from overseas but also from there neighbours. We went with them to the beach and to the bushcamp and to waterfront, that is a big shoppingmall in Cape town.
It was very interesting.
bye bye, Nadine
